Bathroom Furniture

The bathroom is one of the smallest rooms in the house, but somehow it manages to accumulate a lot of stuff.  People will keep their perfumes, towels, dirty clothes and just about anything else you can think of in this tiny room.  If you don’t have bathroom storage furniture, this can make the space very tight and unorganized.

When you don’t have a lot of space, vertical storage is something to consider.  It allows you to store a lot of things in a very small space.  Bathroom shelving is ideal for this as you can get something will a small base that has 3, 4, 5 or 6 shelves to it.  If the base is about a foot and a half big, you will have about 4 feet or so of actual storage space.

If your bathroom is a little larger, you can use a bathroom armoire for storage.  This adds a little storage and also a little style to a room that is often very tough to furnish.  They will not take up much more room than shelving, but they are great to store all of your towels extra soap, toilet tissue, etc…  This is the one solution that can take a lot of the clutter out of the bathroom and have all the necessities in one place.

Dirty clothes are always an issue in any home.  Nobody wants to keep them in their rooms because of the odor that can be created if they are there for a few days and you obviously don’t want them all over the floor either. 

The solution is to get a hamper that will go with the style of the room and also be able to hold the clothing without letting that odor get out.  A closed hamper is best for this and they are available in a variety of styles that will enable you to fit them into just about any spot.

Just because the space is small it does not mean that you cannot take advantage of what is there. The right bathroom storage furniture can add a little pizzazz to the bathroom and at the same time get a lot of the little things out of the way.  You will finally know where to look when you need some extra soap or shampoo instead of opening up the shower curtain and yelling at the top of your lungs for someone to come to the rescue.
